The Challenge Is On To Argentina After Jenna Had Her Heart Broken And Wes Had His Lunch Handed To Him
Well here we are folks. The cast has been moved from a fantasy house in a tropical climate to a fancy hotel in another tropical climate. But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. We started the episode with America’s Sweetheart having her sweet heart shattered in a million pieces by Popcorn Muscles Zach. Just awful stuff.
And then you see Jenna do something as simple as describe her braid and it heals your heart even as hers is hurting. Simply the best.
Last night’s challenge was solid, with each team sharing a shirt that would probably fit me comfortably while running around an obstacle course that was pretty fun. And we also learned Sarah probably gives a mean old fashioned with that wrist work.
As expected, Bananas and Sarah won. There is really no better way to explain that team than this.
Just a powerhouse. And as expected they sent in Wes/Nany and Devin/Cheyenne to the elimination with Dario/Nicole.
The interesting thing is earlier in the episode, Devin said he would pull a Jordan and automatically send himself in to get revenge on Dario, which would have been a legendary if not dumb move.
Butttttt he didn’t.
Devin’s legacy =
In the elimination we had Dario and Nicole comfortably defeat Wes and Nany. Nicole and Nany played to basically a draw, but Dario owned Wes. In fact the only way that Wes would have won that elimination is if this happened.
Hit the weight room/sauce, Wesley!
The episode ended with #VinceFail doing #VinceFail things and bothering people. This time he was picking on Cheyenne by calling her Chantelle and other names, which opened a can of worms about racism Cheyenne has felt during her life. Some legit real world issues before Jenna’s butt comes out of nowhere.
So now we are in Argentina and the final is right around the corner. Again, I would be absolutely, positively shocked if Bananas and Sarah don’t win. But you never know with The Challenge.
As always, here is last night’s No Quitters podcast. We discussed the episode and then were lucky enough to be joined by Nicole from The Challenge for about 25 minutes at the end of the episode to discuss how she ended up on the show, some makeup tips, and what it was like Twitter murdering JJ. Be sure to follow her on Twitter and Instagram if you haven’t already and hopefully you enjoy the interview. A very cool and down to Earth chick for sure.
